DVFX is about making movie special effects with computer. This is a Georgia Tech class(CS8804) offered by Prof. Irfan Essa. We studied and practiced keying, camera calibration, compositing, and writing code to achieve various visual effects. Tools used were: Maya, MEL scripts, After Effects, Premiere...etc.

Inspired by the HP TV commercial, our team created this video with same effect but funnier story. We also made a "Make Of" to explain how it was done.

This is an one-person assignment on keying. Unlike most of other classmates took advantage of the green screen room, I built my own green screen scene around my desk.

Three Cup Monte
The assignment is about getting the parameters of camera like 'Focal Length', 'Principal point', 'Skew', 'Distortion'...etc. With these patameters, we used them in Maya to generate a clip with CG object. We added a magical touch in the final compositing.
